ABOUT COACHING
I remember learning the word 'entrepreneur' & realizing that is what I wanted to do. I wanted to own my own business so I could do things "right". Lead a group of people, focused on values, and people and kindness. Empower people to follow their own dreams and passions. I want to change the world by empowering people with the belief that they can change their own world. Food Service is my industry, but people, that is my passion.
My role as a coach is not to tell you what is best for your business. My job is to help you figure out what you think is best for your business. Provide you with encouragement & accountability to meet your goals. And act as a resource for your business growth. Our discussions are completely judgement free, productive and growth based. We focus on where you are at and what you need. Everything is always confidential.

THE STARFISH STORY
One day a man was walking along the beach when
he noticed a boy picking something up and gently
throwing it into the ocean. Approaching the boy,
he asked, “What are you doing?” The youth replied,
“Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf
is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw
them back, they’ll die.” “Son,” the man said,
“don’t you realize there are miles and miles of
beach and hundreds of starfish? You can’t
make a difference!” After listening politely, the
boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and
threw it back into the surf. Then, smiling at the
man, he said…..“It makes a difference for that one.”

In coaching one of the very first things we will do is connect you to your WHY. The deepest motivation that drives you. I heard The Starfish Story as a young adult and something inside me clicked. Even today, this story brings tears to my eyes. THIS is what I want from my life. I truly believe each of us has the power to change the world. I empower people to change their lives. This is what I love most about being a coach.
ABOUT ME
Single mom of 9 year old son. Animal lover, birdwatcher, DnD adventurer & ambitious crafter.
Previous owner of award winning bakery, Classic Cakes in Carmel, Indiana. Most well known for engineering the hanging of wedding cakes upside down and online Tutorial Tuesday, cake decorating video series. Her passion for food and education build a community of over 30,000 people from around the world.
After a decade of declining health & a team of over a dozen specialists she has finally received a diagnoses for her chronic illness. She has Chronic Lyme Disease, Fibromyalgia & Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. After becoming disabled she sold her bakery and is now focused on her deepest passion; coaching. A place where others can learn from her successes & failures, but more importantly to be able to help others follow their passion.
